Sustainability
We know the people who make our swimsuits. All our pieces are made in London. We partner with local manufacturers who share our values of ethical production and fair labour practices. By producing locally, we minimize our carbon footprint and support the growth of our community.
We pride ourselves on sourcing ethically produced, non-toxic fabrics and trimmings. Our fabric is made from recycled nylon and elastane, and our elastic is made from Oeko certified natural rubber elastic. These materials help reduce the demand for new resources, cut harmful toxins and divert waste from landfills or oceans.
Our innovative ‘Fragment’ collection ingeniously reuses off-cut fabric waste from our mainline collection, allowing us to minimize waste and make the most of precious resources. With each piece meticulously crafted from these repurposed materials, the 'Fragment' collection embodies our commitment to a greener future while offering you stylish and eco-conscious swimwear options.
Packaging and labels are made of recycled, biodegradable and compostable materials.
When you choose a Just Am swimsuit, you're investing in a durable and timeless piece that will remain a staple in your wardrobe for years to come. Our commitment to quality means less waste and more value for you.
Design
Developed with the active woman in mind, our swimwear combines fashion-forward aesthetics with sports-focused functionality. Whether you’re an avid surfer, a fitness enthusiast, or simply love a good swim, our swimwear offers the perfect blend of style and support for all body shapes.
Our exclusive range offers seven interchangeable capsule pieces, created to contour your natural body shape. Fabricated in premium recycled nylon with four-way stretch, these high-quality garments not only offer exceptional comfort but also provide gentle compression, giving you the freedom to enjoy unrestricted movement with style.
Our ‘Fragment’ collection reinterprets styles from our core range by re-using off-cuts and waste fabric from the mainline collection. These one-of-a-kind pieces are available for special orders.
We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our swimwear. Each piece is meticulously crafted in our London factory. Seam lines are placed to contour, support, and provide perfect coverage. Double-layered fabric is seamlessly sewn for durability, ensuring that your favourite swimwear stays with you on countless adventures, all while maintaining its vibrant colours and shape.
We use sustainable recycled nylon fabric that features UV protection and is resistant to chlorine, sun cream and oil. So not only is it eco-friendly but long-lasting, quick drying, and lightweight too. Providing unbeatable comfort, ensuring you stay at the top of your game no matter what the activity.
Packaging
Our commitment to the circular economy goes beyond the product itself to ensure that every aspect of our business aligns with our sustainability goals. We believe that less is more.
Reducing waste and going plastic-free is important to us. We use sustainable biodegradable paper packaging and compostable garment bags. Even our care label is made of recycled nylon, and you can compost the hygiene liner.
When you purchase a Just Am piece, you won't find any unnecessary garment tags attached. We make sure you receive all the essential details and information via email.
Taking Care
Here are some simple tips to help your Just Am swimwear last for years:
After time in the water, rinse your swimsuit in cold water to remove any chlorine, salt or other residues that may damage the fabric.
Avoid wringing or twisting your swimsuit as this can stretch and damage the fibres. Instead, gently press out excess water and lay the swimsuit flat to dry in the shade.
If you machine wash your swimsuit, use a gentle cycle at 30 degrees or below.
Using a washing bag will provide an extra layer of protection during the wash cycle.
To prevent colour fading, wash it inside out and with similar colours.
Opt for mild, eco-friendly detergents that are gentle on the environment and your swimsuit.
Do not iron.
